Be Surrendered to God
2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Ephesians 4:17-27 (KJV)  This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,  (18)  Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:  (19)  Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.  (20)  But ye have not so learned Christ;  (21)  If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:  (22)  That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;  (23)  And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;  (24)  And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.  (25)  Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.  (26)  Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:  (27)  Neither give place to the devil.

John 10:7-11 (GW)  Jesus emphasized, "I can guarantee this truth: I am the gate for the sheep.  (8)  All who came before I did were thieves or robbers. However, the sheep didn't respond to them.  (9)  I am the gate. Those who enter the sheep pen through me will be saved. They will go in and out of the sheep pen and find food.  (10)  A thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy. But I came so that my sheep will have life and so that they will have everything they need.  (11)  "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives his life for the sheep.
Romans 10:13 (GW)  So then, "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Know your authority

Luke 10:19-20 (TPT)  Now you understand that I have imparted to you all my authority to trample over his kingdom. You will trample upon every demon before you and overcome every power Satan possesses. Absolutely nothing will be able to harm you as you walk in this authority.  (20)  However, your real source of joy isn’t merely that these spirits submit to your authority, but that your names are written in the journals of heaven and that you belong to God’s kingdom. This is the true source of your authority.”

Luke 10:19-20 (MKJV)  Behold, I give to you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the authority of the enemy. And nothing shall by any means hurt you.  (20)  Yet do not rejoice in this, that the evil spirits are subject to you, rather rejoice because your names are written in Heaven.
Matthew 10:1 (GW)  Jesus called his twelve disciples and gave them authority to force evil spirits out of people and to cure every disease and sickness.
Mark 16:16-18 (KJV)  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.  (17)  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;  (18)  They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Use your weapons

Luke 18:1 (ISV) Jesus told his disciples a parable about their need to pray all the time and never give up.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (TPT) (3-4) For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide.  (5)  We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One.  (6)  Since we are armed with such dynamic weaponry, we stand ready to punish any trace of rebellion, as soon as you choose complete obedience.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (GW) Of course we are human, but we don't fight like humans.  (4)  The weapons we use in our fight are not made by humans. Rather, they are powerful weapons from God. With them we destroy people's defenses, that is, their arguments (5) and all their intellectual arrogance that oppose the knowledge of God. We take every thought captive so that it is obedient to Christ.  (6)  We are ready to punish every act of disobedience when you have become completely obedient.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (KJV)  For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:  (4)  (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)  (5)  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;  (6)  And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Ephesians 6:10-17 (TPT)  Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you.  (11)  Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser!  (12)  Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage.  (13)  Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.  (14)  Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart.  (15)  Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace.  (16)  In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the Evil One! (17-18) Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken Word of God. Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all his believers.

Ephesians 6:10-17 (ISV) Finally, be strong in the Lord, relying on his mighty strength.  (11)  Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the devil's strategies.  (12)  For our struggle is not against human opponents, but against rulers, authorities, cosmic powers in the darkness around us, and evil spiritual forces in the heavenly realm.  (13)  For this reason, take up the whole armor of God so that you may be able to take a stand whenever evil comes. And when you have done everything you could, you will be able to stand firm.  (14)  Stand firm, therefore, having fastened the belt of truth around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, (15) and being firm-footed in the gospel of peace.  (16)  In addition to having clothed yourselves with these things, having taken up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to put out all the flaming arrows of the evil one,  (17)  also take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
